Ever since learning about Red Rocks, I’ve wanted to go to Red Rocks. It always felt like a “someday” thing, but when I saw Jimmy Eat World announce their 25th anniversary tour for Bleed American, I knew it was time.

What an incredible place! Easily the coolest venue I’ve been to. Denver folks are so lucky. The towering rocks surrounding you, the crisp open air, and the twinkling city lights in the distance. Majestic.

Always a joy to see The Get Up Kids, though they had a very short set. It was my first time seeing Sunny Day Real Estate and that was fun too. Jimmy Eat World was amazing, of course. Bleed American came out just after I got my driver’s license, so it was on repeat in my car stereo during a very formative time in my life. What a gift to see them play it in full.

Really hope to make it to Red Rocks again sometime!
